Kevin holds the position of Vice President, Scientific Assessment, where he leads a multi-site team of licensing professionals responsible for search, evaluation, and due diligence of all business development opportunities for Abbvie.  He is a member of Abbvie’s Licensing Steering Committee which reviews and approves business development transactions.

Kevin has more than 22 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and for the last 11 years has worked in the Abbvie’s business development organization, holding positions both in scientific assessment and transactions.

Previously, Kevin worked in the Research organization as a molecular biologist and subsequently was a member of Abbott’s portfolio analysis and strategic decision support group.  Before joining Abbott, Kevin worked in the Gene Medicine Department at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals.  Kevin received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and an NIH post-doctoral fellowship at the Pennsylvania State University, and has an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management
